"It actually takes a while to accustom yourself to the reader, but I did find it useful - inspite of the fact that I like to back it up, with the old .."fill the tester, add five drops" method.
*Just a small addition: The Customer Service crew at SSP are terrific!"

"This item gave me the worst experience I have ever had. I returned the first one for a replacement & the second one did the same thing. It did not work or register any readings.
Was told by a pool person that many of the ones they sold were returned as well. Would recommend that the mfg company retool their quality control for the price that they are selling this for. Went back to the test strips"

"I wouldn't recommend this to anyone! Most of the time I couldn't get this to give me any reading at all. When I did get a reading,(once every 6 or 7 tries) the reading were off the charts even though my simple dip sticks told me I was in the safe zone on all my readings. Now I have to see if I can get my money back!"

"I always found the color comparison strips difficult to judge. This is an excellent replacement. A bit costly but easy to use and reliable."
